A parent + advocate of 2 exceptional teenage children, Charles remains an active leader in community-based recreational + educational programs, such as The First Tee of the Triad and Forsyth County Special Olympics. He is a Senior Vice President within Bank of America's Global Procurement Division.
Matthew displays a lifelong dedication to the IDD community with a degree in Special Education and currently serves as the Principal + Director of Clinical Operations at Horizons Residential Care Center. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate.
With over 30 years of business finance/management experience, John currently is the Chief Financial Officer at Guerrilla RF + holds his doctorate in Business Administration with his dissertation focusing upon nonprofit financial management.
A proud new father, Michael comes with career-long experience leading + directing nonprofits, with most recent experience as the Director of Donor Relations at United Way of Forsyth County.
Charles proudly shares leadership achievements in the IDD community with wife and fellow board member, Dana Alley, as co-founder of A Bridge to Achievement + parent advocate of Josh. He has well-rounded management + consulting experience in businesses ranging from small startups to large multinational corporations.
As Founder + Chief Executive Officer at A Bridge to Achievement, Dana offers over 20 years of IDD-focused program leadership experience. She is a proud parent advocate of Josh with Charles Alley (listed above).
Carla is a dedicated qualified IDD/MH/SA professional with over 20 years of experience in the helping profession including a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Master's degree in Addition Studies.
Philip 'Opie' Kirby
As a pioneer in Winston-Salem's downtown restaurant community, Opie has owned + operated local Irish Pub, Finnigan's Wake since 2006 which is now a friendly neighbor of ours on Trade Street. He constantly serves the local community through constant charitable events + giving, such as the annual St. Baldrick's Day event.
Bailey Liipfert III
As managing partner of Liipfert Law Group, Bailey is a committed + specialized advocate of the disability community with practice focuses including disability planning + special needs trusts. He is also a charter member of the Special Needs Alliance.
As the Chief Meteorologist of WXII 12 local news station, Lanie brings valuable marketing experience + has a special interest in serving the Triad community displayed by her constant involvement in programs such as the Second Harvest Food Bank and Alzheimer's Association.
Hayley Sink, MPA
Currently serving as the Marketing + Engagement Officer of Crosby Scholars Community Partnership, Hayley has displayed lifelong commitment to educational + special needs enrichment. She was previously Executive Director of ACCESS Wilmington + holds a Master's degree in Public Administration Nonprofit Management.
